How it feels
A man marries a second woman to make his first love jealous but abandons her after having a child. The abandoned wife falls into prostitution until a young man rescues her. Later the husband is murdered and she is accused but the truth comes out and his first love confesses to the killing.

What happens
دختری از شیراز یک فیلم ایرانی به کارگردانی ساموئل خاچیکیان و محصول سال ۱۳۳۳ است. «افشار» به منظور تحریک حس حسادت دختر مورد علاقهاش «منیر» با «عایشه» ازدواج میکند. در مدت کمی افشار نظر منیر را جلب میکند و عایشه را که از او صاحب فرزندی شده رها میکند. عایشه کارش به فحشا کشیده میشود. جوانی با او آشنا میشود و نجاتش میدهد. چند وقت بعد افشار به قتل میرسد و عایشه به اتهام قتل دستگیر میشود. اما در زمان کوتاهی حقیقت روشن میگردد و منیر به قتل افشار اعتراف میکند. در انتها عایشه با جوان مورد علاقهاش زندگی تازهای را آغاز میکند.
