What happens

Politikens filmjournal 232 er en dansk ugerevy fra 1954. 1) Tyskland: Fire-magtstopmødet i Berlin. De fire udenrigsministre John Foster Dulles (USA), Georges-Augustin Bidault (Frankrig), Anthony Eden (England) og Vjatjeslav Molotov (Sovjetunionen) ankommer til mødet i bilkortege. De tager plads i konferencesalen. 2) England: Den engelske 'Comet'-jetmaskine på prøveflyvning til Afrika. Flyets kaptajn John Cunningham udtaler sig til pressen. I et engelsk laboratorie udfører eksperter sindrige forsøg for at øge sikkerheden i luften. 3) Indiens uafhængighedsdag fejres i Danmark ved en sammenkomst: Professor dr. phil. Hans Hendriksen og Louis Brinkfort, også kaldet "Den hvide fakir", holder tale. Fru Enna laver yogaøvelser. 4) Spanien: Fægtelandskamp Saar-Spanien i Madrid. Saar-fægterne vinder. 5) 200-årsdagen for Ludvig Holbergs død markeres i København ved Det Kgl. Teater. Kransenedlæggelse ved Holbergs statue med deltagelse af teaterchef Henning Brøndsted, kongelig skuespiller Aage Fønss og teaterdirektør Thorvald Larsen. I Det Kgl. Teater vises Holbergs komedie 'Mascarade'. Politikens Filmjournal var en dansk ugerevy, der udkom i 257 afsnit fra august 1949 til juli 1954.
