În vârtejul dansului grafiat la data lansării În vîrtejul dansului (titlul original: în slovacă Rodná zem) este un film de comedie cehoslovac, realizat în 1954 de regizorul slovac Josef Mach, protagoniști fiind actorii Martin Ťapák, Heda Melicherová, Július Pántik și Magdaléna Balíková-Dziaková. În urma succesului uriaș la public al comediei muzicale Zítra se bude tančit všude (1952, Mâine se va dansa peste tot) – în care apăreau membri ai Uniunii Tineretului veșnic zâmbitori și mereu gata de dans, cineaștii cehoslovaci și-au îndreptat atenția către cultura populară. Astfel au apărut, printre altele, comedia Ještě svatba nebyla (1953, Nunta nu a avut loc încă) și primul film slovac color, musicalul inspirat din folclor În vârtejul dansului (1953).
