How it feels

Danny, a truck driver in 1940s Palestine, becomes obsessed with buying a rebuilt truck waiting for him in Haifa. No matter how hard he works, he cannot save enough money, and his wife Anna tries to break his fixation. When he finally obtains the truck, his dream comes true, but Michael, an underground fighter from the Haganah, demands the truck for the Jewish resistance effort near the end of the British Mandate.

אבן על כל מיל הוא סרט קולנוע ישראלי אבוד משנת 1955 שביים אריה להולה. דני, נהג משאית במקצועו, מוכן לעשות הכל על מנת להרוויח כסף ולקנות את המשאית המשופצת שמחכה לו במוסך בחיפה, אך כמה שהוא לא יטרח, הוא לא מצליח לאסוף מספיק כסף. ניסיונותיה של אנה, אשתו, לעקור מתוכו את ה"דיבוק" למשאית הזאת אינם עולים יפה. בסופו של דבר המשאית מושגת וחלום חייו של דני מתגשם. מיכאל, פעיל בארגון "ההגנה", דורש מדני את המשאית. הוא זקוק לה לצרכים לאומיים, הימים הם ימי הדמדומים של השלטון המנדטורי ומיכאל עומד בראש קבוצת אנשי מחתרת.
