How it feels
This documentary series portrays the siege, fall, and liberation of the Iranian city of Khorramshahr. The filmmaker began work as his final project in the southern war zones. Six episodes were completed and broadcast on Iranian television before the director was killed during a production trip and the series was left unfinished.

مستند شهری در آسمان، مجموعهای ده قسمتی دربارهٔ محاصره، سقوط و آزادسازی خرمشهر است که سید مرتضی آوینی به عنوان آخرین کار خود، اقدام به ساخت آن در مناطق جنگی جنوب نمود. در پایان سال ۱۳۷۱، شش قسمت از این مجموعه آماده شده و در تلویزیون جمهوری اسلامی ایران پخش شده بود. گروه فیلمبرداری برای پیگیری و اتمام کار، به فکه سفر کرد که این سفر مصادف با کشتهشدن سید مرتضی آوینی در روز ۲۰ فروردین ماه ۱۳۷۲ شده و کار این مستند ناتمام ماند.
