How it feels
A man on leave from military service in the Arctic gets sent to Paris for a special mission. His commanding officer expects him to get into a scandal to prove a point about soldiers falling in love too easily. Things get more complicated when a woman from the base shows up to keep an eye on him.

The Perfect Furlough is a 1958 American CinemaScope Eastmancolor romantic comedy film directed by Blake Edwards and written by Stanley Shapiro. Edwards and Shapiro would re-team the following year for another Tony Curtis service comedy, Operation Petticoat.
