Η φτώχεια θέλει καλοπέραση είναι ασπρόμαυρη ελληνική κωμική ταινία του 1958, σε σκηνοθεσία Ορέστη Λάσκου, ο οποίος έγραψε και το σενάριο μαζί με τον Γιώργο Θίσβιο. Πρωταγωνιστούν οι Νίκος Σταυρίδης, Γιάννης Γκιωνάκης, Κούλης Στολίγκας, Καίτη Μπελίντα, Μάγια Μελάγια και Φίλιος Φιλιππίδης. Η υπόθεση επικεντρώνεται σε δύο φουκαράδες βιοπαλαιστές που ψάχνουν απεγνωσμένα να βρουν μια δουλειά για να επιβιώσουν και παράλληλα να παντρευτούν τις αγαπημένες τους. Η ταινία έκανε πρεμιέρα στις 10 Φεβρουαρίου 1958 και προβλήθηκε στους κινηματογράφους «Αντζελα», «Ελλη» και «Μοντιάλ» της Αθήνας καθώς και στο «Παλλάς» του Πειραιά. (from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA)
