కుంతీపుత్రుడు దాసరి నారాయణరావు దర్శకత్వంలో 1993లో విడుదలైన చిత్రం. ఇందులో మోహన్ బాబు, విజయశాంతి ముఖ్యమైన పాత్రల్లో నటించారు. ఈ చిత్రాన్ని మోహన్ బాబు తన స్వంత నిర్మాణ సంస్థయైన లక్ష్మీ ప్రసన్న పిక్చర్స్ పతాకంపై నిర్మించాడు. ఈ చిత్రానికి ఇళయరాజా సంగీత దర్శకత్వం వహించాడు. ఒక జమీందారీ వంశానికి చెందిన వాడు తన తల్లికి పెళ్ళికి ముందే మరో వ్యక్తితో సంబంధం వల్ల పుట్టాడని తెలుసుకుంటే అతని జీవితం ఎలా ఉంటుంది అనే అంశం పై కథ అల్లుకున్నారు. ఈ సినిమా మలయాళ సినిమా దేవాసురం అనే చిత్రానికి పునర్నిర్మాణం. 1990 వ దశకంలో ఈ చిత్రం మలయాళంలో అత్యంత విజయవంతమైన చిత్రాల్లో ఒకటిగా నిలిచింది. అంతేగాక దర్శకుడు ఐ. వి. శశి, నటుడు మోహన్ లాల్ కు మంచి పేరు తెచ్చి పెట్టిన చిత్రం ఇది.
