The 3D catalogue: film cases on wooden shelves, with the cat sitting at the counter next to its greeting.

The catalogue in 3D

The film shelves have a room of their own that you can walk around in. The cat behind the counter is the AI Catbot, and they pick real films from the same catalogue when you tell them what you feel like watching. Nothing is for sale, here or in there. Go in from here and this film is already out on the counter, with more like it waiting on the shelf next to it.

How it feels

A former soldier returns to Warsaw after years in Paris, hoping to reconnect with old war comrades. He finds them uninterested in revisiting the past, as they focus on their everyday lives. Disappointed, he goes back to Paris and his job as a driver.

What happens

Powrót – polski film psychologiczny z 1960 roku na podstawie powieści Szczęśliwie torturowani Romana Bratnego. Po latach pobytu w Paryżu, do Warszawy przybywa "Siwy", były żołnierz podziemia i uczestnik powstania warszawskiego. Odwiedza swojego kumpla Andrzeja i prosi o pomoc w odszukaniu dawnych kolegów, by z nimi wspominać wojenne czasy. Ale te spotkania rozczarowują, ponieważ nie chcą oni wspominać przeszłości i żyją codziennością. Miłość do łączniczki Iny to też przeszłość. "Siwy" rozczarowany tym wszystkim wraca do Paryża, gdzie pracuje jako kierowca przemysłowca. (from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA)
