ముక్కుపుడక భార్గవ్ ఆర్ట్ ప్రొడక్షన్స్ పతాకంపై ఎస్. గోపాలరెడ్డి నిర్మాతగా, కోడి రామకృష్ణ దర్శకత్వంలో సుహాసిని, భానుచందర్, విజయశాంతి, గొల్లపూడి మారుతీరావు ప్రధాన పాత్రల్లో నటించిన తెలుగు చలన చిత్రం. తమిళంలో విజయవంతం అయిన గోపురంగళ్ సైవతిలై సినిమాను ముక్కుపుడకగా పునర్నిర్మించారు. జె.వి.రాఘవులు సంగీతం, గణేష్ పాత్రో మాటలు అందించారు. అందచందాలు లేకున్నా మంచి మనసున్న మంగతాయారు (సుహాసిని)ని అర్థంచేసుకోని భర్త ప్రసాద్ (భానుచందర్) మరో అమ్మాయి రీనా (విజయశాంతి)ని మోసగించి పెళ్ళిచేసుకోవడం, అది బయటపడి, భార్య విలువ తెలిసుకోవడం సినిమా కథాంశం. సినిమా మహిళా ప్రేక్షకులను బాగా ఆకట్టుకుని, ఘన విజయం పొందింది. కథాంశం, సుహాసిని నటన, విలక్షణమైన గొల్లపూడి మారుతీరావు పాత్రపోషణ, పాటలు వంటివి ప్రేక్షకుల్లో విశేషమైన ఆదరణ పొందాయి.
