How it feels
Kids in a town are fed up with the adults. With a kite's help they fly to a city with no grown-ups. They run things themselves and have fun, but the city falls into chaos. The kids regret it and return home. The adults realize they have been neglecting the children.

What happens
شهر در دست بچهها فیلمی کمدی و کودکانه به کارگردانی اسماعیل براری و نویسندگی جهان خادم المله ساختهٔ سال ۱۳۷۰ است. بچههای یک شهر از دست بزرگترهای خود به تنگ آمدهاند. به پیشنهاد و کمک بادبادکی به شهری پرواز میکنند که خالی از بزرگترهاست. در آنجا بچهها امور شهر را در دست میگیرند و به کارهای مورد علاقه خود دست میزنند. اما پس از مدتی نظم شهر به هم میریزد و بچههای پشیمان تصمیم به بازگشت میگیرند. بزرگترها هم که به دنبال بچهها میگردند، پی میبرند که در حق آنها اهمال و بیتوجهی کردهاند. بچهها با بادبادک هایشان به شهر خودشان نزد بزرگترها بازمیگردند، این حادثه به آنها ثابت میکند که به وجود هم نیازمندند.
