The film stars Sulochana, Shrikant Moghe, Seema Deo, Kusum Deshpande, Amar Sheikh in lead roles. At the 9th National Film Awards Prapanch won All India Certificate of Merit for the Third Best Feature Film. The film also won Best Feature Film in 1st Maharashtra State Film Awards.
