Ο Εφιάλτης είναι ελληνικό ψυχολογικό θρίλερ του 1961 και αποτελεί το σκηνοθετικό ντεμπούτο του Ερρίκου Ανδρέου, ο οποίος έγραψε και το σενάριο. Πρωταγωνιστούν οι Μιχάλης Νικολινάκος, Βούλα Χαριλάου και Σταύρος Ξενίδης. Είναι, ίσως, το πιο αντιπροσωπευτικό δείγμα ψυχολογικού θρίλερ στον ελληνικό κινηματογράφο με φανερές επιρροές από ταινίες του Άλφρεντ Χίτσκοκ όπως το Ψυχώ, και τις θεωρίες ψυχανάλυσης του Σίγκμουντ Φρόυντ.
