Το πιθάρι είναι κωμική, αισθηματική ελληνική κινηματογραφική ταινία του 1962 σε παραγωγή Δημήτρης Σκλάβος και ΣΙΑ και σε σκηνοθεσία και σενάριο Δημήτρη Σκλάβου. Πρωταγωνιστούν οι Θανάσης Βέγγος, Γιάννης Μαλούχος, Μάρθα Βούρτση και Κατερίνα Γιουλάκη. Η ταινία αφορά τη ζωή δύο βιοπαλαιστών, του Ανδρέα και του Σωτήρη, που μία μέρα ανακαλύπτουν στην οικοδομή όπου δουλεύανε ένα πιθάρι με λίρες και νομίζουν ότι προβλήματά τους λύνονται πλέον. Οι διάφορες αναποδιές όμως δεν τους αφήνουν να χρησιμοποιήσουν αυτές τις λίρες, ενώ τελικά τις χάνουν, καθώς τους κλέβουνε. (from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA)
