Στον ομώνυμο ρόλο είναι ο Κώστας Χατζηχρήστος, ο οποίος υποδύεται τον δεκανέα Θανάση Πρασινάδα, υπασπιστή του συνταγματάρχη Πέτρου Παυλάρα (Κούλης Στολίγκας), που βάζει το κατασκοπευτικό του δαιμόνιο σε λειτουργία για να παντρευτεί τη γυναίκα που αγαπάει, τη Φρόσω (Μάρθα Καραγιάννη), υπηρέτρια του συνταγματάρχη.
