The catalogue in 3D

The film shelves have a room of their own that you can walk around in. The cat behind the counter is the AI Catbot, and they pick real films from the same catalogue when you tell them what you feel like watching. Nothing is for sale, here or in there. Go in from here and this film is already out on the counter, with more like it waiting on the shelf next to it.

What happens

Kuuma kissa? on Erkko Kivikosken ohjaama draamaelokuva vuodelta 1968. Elokuva on saanut aiheensa Kerttu-Kaarina Suosalmen romaanista Neitsyt (1964), mutta Suosalmi muokkasi sitä käsikirjoitusvaiheessa melko perusteellisesti uusiksi. Kivikoskea pidetään suomalaisen uuden aallon keskeisenä nimenä. Lyhyen uransa aikana hän sai ohjauksistaan kuusi Jussia. Kuuma kissa? on hänen kolmas pitkä ohjauksensa. Tuottajaporras nimesi elokuvan vastoin Kivikosken tahtoa. Hänen työnimiään olivat "Varpaat", "Minitunteet" ja Suosalmen romaanin mukainen "Neitsyt". Finnkino julkaisi elokuvan DVD-levynä 22. elokuuta 2008. (from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA)
