Hovedpersonen er outsideren Per, der som en charmerende provokatør trænger sig ind hos tidligere venner i et absurd desperat - og forgæves - forsøg på at genetablere en kontakt med de gamle venner via fortidens ukonventionelle, men samtidig stivnede, livsform.
