Il film partecipò originariamente alla 30ª Mostra internazionale d'arte cinematografica di Venezia, per poi essere restaurato nel 2009 dalla Cineteca Nazionale e ripresentato alla 66ª Mostra internazionale d'arte cinematografica di Venezia.
