Da elefanten tok leketanten er en norsk animasjonsfilm for barn fra 1969. Den ble tegnet av Bett og Hans Jørgen Toming, basert på boka med samme tittel av den finlandssvenske forfatteren Sebastian Lybeck og den dansknorske tegneren Hans Jørgen Toming. Teksten ble oversatt og lest av Inger Hagerup. Den ble sendt i barneprogrammet Eventyrstund i 1969. Boka ble tildelt billedbokprisen av Kirke- og undervisningsdepartementet i 1967.
