"Veelinnurahvas" on Lennart Mere dokumentaalfilm soome-ugri ja samojeedi rahvaste igapäevaelust, etnograafiast, folkloorist ja traditsioonilisest kultuurist, mis on valmis 1970. aastal ja esilinastus 1972. aastal. Filmivõtete ajal läbis võttegrupp enam kui 18 000 kilomeetrit. "Veelinnurahvas" oli Lennart Mere esimene dokumentaalfilm. 1977. aastal ilmus filmile järg "Linnutee tuuled". 2009. aastal taastati film digitaalselt projekti Eesti film 100 raames ja filmi originaalmaterjale säilitatakse Eesti Filmiarhiivis. Filmivõtted toimusid Altai krais, Neenetsimaal, Handi-Mansimaal, Usbekistanis, Komis, Marimaal, Eestis ja Karjalas. (from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA)
