Este filme fue seleccionado en el Festival Internacional de Cine de Cannes de 1970 para la Palma de Oro al mejor cortometraje. Este cortometraje integró junto con Los buenos sentimientos de Bernardo Borenholtz, Vida, pasión y muerte de un realizador iracundo de Rodolfo Corral y La visita de David Amitin, el largometraje Cuatrónicas.
