Las melancólicas es una película española dramática y de terror estrenada en 1971, escrita y dirigida por Rafael Moreno Alba y protagonizada por Analía Gadé, Francisco Rabal, Espartaco Santoni y María Asquerino. Duramente cortada por la censura, se hicieron dos versiones, una para ser exhibida en España y la otra, bajo el título de The House of Insane Women/Exorcism's Daughter, con desnudez femenina, destinada al extranjero. Parece ser que, por equivocación, una de estas copias fue enviada al cine Yago de Santiago de Compostela y se exhibió durante varios días antes de ser retirada por orden gubernativa.
