V hlavnej úlohe drámy, natočenej podľa románu Františka Hečka, sa predstavil Štefan Kvietik, ktorému sekundovala plejáda popredných slovenských hercov, medzi inými Emília Vášáryová, Oľga Adamčíková, Ivan Rajniak, Ľudovít Greššo alebo Karol Machata.
