Three Zaporozhian Cossacks set out on a mission to rescue brides. They encounter obstacles and use clever tricks to overcome them. The story is told without dialogue through visual comedy and short scenes.

«Казаки» — серия мультфильмов о приключениях троих запорожских казаков, поставленных режиссёром-постановщиком Владимиром Дахно и снятых на киностудии «Киевнаучфильм». Последний мультфильм серии был снят уже в независимой Украине на киностудии «Укранимафильм» в 1995 году. В 2016 и 2018 годах на студии «Baraban» был снят мультсериал, продолжающий серию. В мультфильмах отсутствуют диалоги, за исключением иногда приводимого вступительного или заключительного текста «от автора» и песен — действие происходит в виде интуитивно понятных сцен.
