Canoa: A Shameful Memory (Spanish: Canoa: memoria de un hecho vergonzoso) is a 1976 Mexican docudrama film directed by Felipe Cazals and starring Enrique Lucero, based upon the 1968 San Miguel Canoa massacre. The film won the Grand Jury Prize at the 26th Berlin International Film Festival and was nominated for five Ariel Awards including for Best Picture and Best Director, and winning one for Best Story.
