Transit ins Jenseits ist ein Krimi der Reihe Tatort und wurde vom Sender Freies Berlin produziert unter Redaktion von Jens-Peter Behrend. In seinem zweiten Tatort muss Kommissar Schmidt einen Todesfall auf der Transitstrecke von West-Berlin in die Bundesrepublik Deutschland aufklären. Die Erstausstrahlung am 5. Dezember 1976 in der ARD erreichte einen Marktanteil von 44,00 Prozent. Das Szenenbild stammt von Gerd Staub und die Kostüme von Cornelia Kampmann.
