What happens

The Blood Stained Shadow (Italian: Solamente nero, lit. 'Only Blackness') is an Italian giallo film co-written and directed by Antonio Bido. The film follows a professor who returns to his home in a coastline Italian village where a woman is strangled. The strangulation closely resembles the decades-old unsolved murder of a young girl in the village and is followed by the murders of various "sinners" throughout the town. (from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA)
