Série Noire is a 1979 French neo-noir dark comedy psychological crime thriller film directed by Alain Corneau, based on the novel A Hell of a Woman by Jim Thompson. It stars Patrick Dewaere, Marie Trintignant and Bernard Blier. It tells the story of an inadequate young man whose relationship with his wife has deteriorated and who falls for a teenage prostitute.
