How it feels
A young woman grows tired of being treated as a prized possession by an aging art dealer. She meets a businessman who introduces her to the beauty of Persian rugs, and after the dealer dies of cancer she travels to Iran following his final wish.

『燃える秋』（もえるあき）は1978年12月23日に公開された日本映画燃える秋。五木寛之の同名小説の映画化。主演：真野響子 監督：小林正樹。東宝=三越提携、東宝映画（製作協力）、配給東宝。 老画商・影山（佐分利信）の愛玩品として弄ばれることに疲れきった桐生亜希（真野響子）が、京都祇園祭の宵山の雑踏の中で若い商社マン・岸田（北大路欣也）に出会い、ペルシャ絨毯の美を教えられる。やがて影山はガンに侵され、亜希にペルシャ絨毯とそれを生んだイランへの航空券を残して死ぬ。亜希は影山の遺志でイランに旅立つ。 (from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA)
