Cong nu li dao jiang jun (oversatt til norsk: «Fra slave til general») er et kinesisk krigsdrama fra 1979 regissert av Wang Yan. Filmen handler om kineseren Luo Xiao som unnslipper sin slavetilværelse ved å verve seg til den kinesiske hær i 1915. Han vokser i gradene og ender til slutt opp som general. Filmen er biografisk i sin stil og det tas utgangspunkt i livene til flere offiserer i Folkets frigjøringshær. Hovedrollen spilles av Yang Zaibao.
