How it feels
A doctor returns to his homeland to serve the people. After a female patient dies during surgery, he is persecuted by the Gang of Four who accuse him of wrong political thinking. Only his daughter stands by him, and it is later revealed the patient was poisoned by a nurse acting on the Gang of Four's orders to frame him.

What happens
Suffering Heart (originaltittel: Ku nan de xin) er en kinesisk dramafilm fra 1979 regissert av Chang Zhenhua. Filmen handler om en lege som returnerer til sitt hjemland for å tjene folket. En operasjon på en kvinnelig pasient får et dødelig utfall og han ender med å bli forfulgt av Firerbanden som anklager ham for feil politisk holdninger. Kun hans datter står ved hans side. Senere viser det seg at kvinnen ble forgiftet av en pleierske som handlet på vegne av Firerbanden og at motivet var å skape et påskudd for å sverte legen. Handlingen er lagt til slutten av Maos styre. Hovedrollen spilles av Kang Tai. Den ble tildelt prisen for fremragende film ved Huabiao Awards (delt med flere filmer). (from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA)
