What happens

The Hunter is a 1980 American biographical action-thriller film directed by Buzz Kulik and starring Steve McQueen, along with Eli Wallach, Kathryn Harrold, LeVar Burton, Ben Johnson and Richard Venture. It is based on the life and career of bounty hunter Ralph "Papa" Thorson, and is adapted from Christopher Keane's biography of Thorson. The film was released by Paramount Pictures on August 1, 1980. The Hunter was McQueen's final role before his death in November of that year, as well as the final theatrical film directed by Kulik. (from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA)
