ชั่วฟ้าดินสลาย เป็นภาพยนตร์ไทยที่ออกฉายในปี พ.ศ. 2498 สร้างจากนวนิยายขนาดสั้นเรื่อง ชั่วฟ้าดินสลาย บทประพันธ์ของมาลัย ชูพินิจ (เรียมเอง) ที่ตีพิมพ์ในหนังสือนิกรฉบับวันอาทิตย์เมื่อปี พ.ศ. 2486 ต่อมาจึงได้รับการแก้ไขและขยายเป็นนวนิยายขนาดเล็กในปี พ.ศ. 2494 จัดพิมพ์โดยสำนักงานพิทยาคม และเคยสร้างเป็นละครเวทีโดยคณะศิวารมย์ ภาพยนตร์ชั่วฟ้าดินสลาย ฉบับ พ.ศ. 2498 สร้างโดยบริษัทหนุมานภาพยนตร์ กำกับการแสดงโดยครูมารุต โดยมีรัตน์ เปสตันยี เป็นผู้อำนวยการสร้าง และกำกับภาพ บันทึกเสียงโดย ปง อัศวินิกุล ถ่ายทำในระบบ 35 มม. สีอีสต์แมนและบันทึกเสียงขณะถ่ายทำ ภาพยนตร์เรื่องนี้มีเพลงประกอบที่มีความไพเราะมาก คือเพลง ชั่วฟ้าดินสลาย ประพันธ์คำร้องโดย ครูมารุต ผู้กำกับภาพยนตร์ ทำนองโดย แมนรัตน์ ศรีกรานนท์ ขับร้องโดย พูลศรี เจริญพงษ์ ได้รับรางวัลแผ่นเสียงเงินพระราชทาน (from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA)
