Filmen følger skuespiller Lone Hertz og hendes fjortenårige handicappede søn Tomas Strøbye under en sommerferieuge i Skagen. Hertz tog selv initiativet til at lave filmen, der fik ordinær biografforevisning og blev set af mange.
