Die totale Familie ist eine von Ernst Schmidt jr. im Jahre 1981 gedrehte österreichische Filmproduktion. Der Spielfilm ist eine Adaption des Romans Die Merowinger oder Die totale Familie von Heimito von Doderer. Die totale Familie blieb Ernst Schmidts einzige Filmproduktion.
