How it feels

Kejamnya Ibu Tiri Tak sekejam ibukota adalah film Indonesia pada tahun 1981Film ini dibintangi antara lain oleh Ateng (Ateng) telah merasakan betapa susahnya hidup bersama ibu tirinya. Banyak diperintah, sering kena marah bahkan ditampar. Ayahnya sendiri dirasakan tidak pernah membela Ateng. Penampilan kawan lamanya, Iskak (Iskak) yang baru datang dari Jakarta, membuat orang-orang kampung mengaguminya. Padahal Iskak belum begitu lama merantau ke Jakarta. Hal tersebut membuat Ateng kepengin sekali ikut merantau ke ibu kota. Maka berangkatlah Ateng bersama-sama dengan Iskak. Di Jakarta, ketika mereka meleng, tas mereka hilang diambil orang. Atengpun sadar bahwa ternyata Iskak sendiri hanya omong besar dan susah mendapatkan pekerjaan. Begitu pula Ateng yang belum berpengalaman dan tidak memiliki ketrampilan. Ateng merasa sengsara di ibu kota, selain babak belur, juga kelaparan dan ditipu orang.
