How it feels
A young woman works as a bus conductor and faces daily humiliation from body searches. She stays kind to others even when struggling herself. She falls in love with a traveling salesman and helps him get a job on a ship. After one more body search she protests and jumps from a building roof. She is badly hurt and her boyfriend holds her.
