What happens

Thoorpu Padamara (transl. East and West) is a 1976 Indian Telugu-language romantic drama film written and directed by Dasari Narayana Rao. A remake of the Tamil film Apoorva Raagangal (1975), it revolves around a rebel (Narasimha Raju) who falls in love with a much older woman (Srividya) while the woman's daughter (Madhavi) is drawn to the rebel's father (Kaikala Satyanarayana). The rest of the story revolves around the four characters and their problems. The film was released on 23 October 1976 and became a commercial success. (from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA)
