Le Désert et l'Enfant (turkmène : Erkek terbiýesi ; russe : Мужское воспитание, Moujskoïe vospitanie) est un mélodrame de l'enfance soviétique réalisé par Ousman Saparov et Iazgueldy Seïdov (ru), sorti en 1983. Le film enregistre 2,8 millions d'entrées en Union soviétique à sa sortie. Il remporte le Prix d'or du Concours de films pour enfants et le Prix spécial du jury des enfants au Festival international du film de Moscou 1983, ainsi que plusieurs autres prix. En 1984, l'équipe de création a reçu le Prix d'État de l'URSS. Le thème de l'intrigue est repris dans le film suivant de son réalisateur Ousman Saparov Aventures sur les îles (1985).
