The 3D catalogue: film cases on wooden shelves, with the cat sitting at the counter next to its greeting.

The catalogue in 3D

The film shelves have a room of their own that you can walk around in. The cat behind the counter is the AI Catbot, and they pick real films from the same catalogue when you tell them what you feel like watching. Nothing is for sale, here or in there. Go in from here and this film is already out on the counter, with more like it waiting on the shelf next to it.

How it feels

Two men volunteer for an experimental hibernation and wake up decades later in an underground society where all men have disappeared. They must navigate a world run by women who have forgotten what men were like. The film pokes fun at both gender stereotypes and political systems.

What happens

Sexmission (Polish: Seksmisja) is a 1984 Polish politically satirical cult comedy science fiction action film. It was directed by Juliusz Machulski based on a screenplay he co-wrote with Jolanta Hartwig and Pavel Hajný. Sexmission has earned the title of a cult film over time, although due to the film's association of women's emancipation with the communist dictatorship of the era of the Polish People's Republic, it was the subject of feminist criticism.
