ریشه در خون فیلمی به کارگردانی سیروس الوند و نویسندگی محمد دیهیمی ساختهٔ سال ۱۳۶۲ است. فیلم دو ویژگی دارد: نخستین فیلم تهیهکنندهای است که بعدها به یکی از پرکارترین تهیهکنندگان تاریخ سینمای ایران بدل شد؛ نخستین فیلم کارگردانش بعد از انقلاب (پس از اکران ۴ فیلم پرفروش در سالهای پیش از انقلاب) میباشد.
