Päivää, herra Kivi on Timo Linnasalon ohjaama suomalainen tragikomedia vuodelta 1984. Elokuva seuraa pikkupaikkakunnan kirjastoapulaisen Helinän (Kristiina Elstelä) elämää kesänä, jolloin hän harjoittaa paikallista teatteriseuruetta esittämään Aleksis Kiven näytelmää Yö ja päivä ja rakastuu taas nuoruuden ihastukseensa, hiljaiseen nuohoojamieheen (Markku Huhtamo), joka on paitsi harrastajakirjoittaja, myös naimisissa. Elokuva tehtiin Aleksis Kiven syntymän 150-vuotisjuhlan innoittamana. Linnasalon ohella elokuvan toisena käsikirjoittajana toimi Ilpo Tuomarila. (from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA)
