Taikapeli on Hannu Peltomaan ohjaama suomalainen fantasia- ja lastenelokuva vuodelta 1984. Hannu Peltomaa käsikirjoitti elokuvan yhdessä veljensä Erkki Peltomaan kanssa, joka toimi myös elokuvan kuvaajana. Hannu Peltomaa kertoo halunneensa tehdä lastenelokuvan, koska hän koki, että lapsille ei ole tehty tarpeeksi elokuvia. Hän kertoo myös halunneensa painottaa elokuvassa mielikuvituksen käyttöä nykypäivän digitaalisessa maailmassa. Elokuvan päähenkilö on Arttu, joka ei saa pelata vanhempien sisarustensa ja serkkujensa elektroniikkapeleillä. Artun äiti antaa hänelle rikkinäisen elektroniikkapelin, jonka Arttu muuttaa taikapeliksi. Taikapelin avulla Arttu pystyy tekemään taikoja ja manipuloimaan ympäristöään haluamillaan tavoilla.
