How it feels
An orphaned young woman named Natasha starts working at a shoe factory where her mother once worked. She makes friends, faces early challenges, and marries the factory newspaper editor Andrei Burov. Natasha becomes a leader at the factory by organizing an experimental workshop, but her husband leaves for Siberia to write a book, creating tension in their family.
