How it feels
A 16-year-old Arab girl from a village in Israel dreams of becoming a doctor. To improve her chances of getting into university, she enrolls in a Jewish boarding school with her father's encouragement. There she faces difficult and awkward situations with the Jewish students because of her background.

נאדיה הוא סרט קולנוע ישראלי משנת 1986 בבימויו של אמנון רובינשטיין, עם חנה אזולאי-הספרי, יובל בנאי, מאיר בנאי, אוסי הלל ורי רוזנפלד בתפקידים הראשיים. התסריט נכתב על ידי איתן גרין בהשתתפות גלילה רון-פדר ואמנון רובינשטיין והוא מבוסס על רב המכר "נאדיה" של גלילה רון פדר משנת 1985, אך עם שינויים מהסיפור המקורי. העלילה היא על נערה ערביה בת 16 מכפר ערבי במשולש שחלומה הוא להיות רופאה, וכדי להגדיל את סיכוייה להתקבל לאוניברסיטה היא נרשמת בעידוד אביה לפנימייה תיכונית יהודית. המפגש בינה לבין התלמידים היהודים טעון במצבים רגישים, מביכים וכואבים על רקע מוצאה. הסרט צולם בכפר הירוק, מייסר וכפר קרע. יוני רכטר הלחין את פסקול הסרט. מאיר בנאי מבצע בסרט את שירו "חלומות אחרים", וגידי גוב מבצע בסיום הסרט ברקע את השיר "שוב נפגשים" למילים של עלי מוהר.
