How it feels
Two lonely boys, Emil and Fritz, meet one summer. Emil's mother works as a maid and has little time for him. Fritz misses his real mother and stays with his father and new stepmother. They form a magical friendship, but things turn dangerous when Emil feels jealous of Fritz getting along with his mother.

What happens
Når vinden vender er en kortfilm fra 1987 instrueret af Lars Kjeldgaard efter manuskript af Lars Kjeldgaard. Emil er ensom. Hans far er død, og hans mor arbejder som tjenestepige i "Strandhuset". Hun har ikke tid til at tage sig af ham. Fritz er også ensom. Han skal tilbringe sommeren i "Strandhuset" sammen med sin far og sin nye stedmor. Fritz savner sin rigtige mor.
