"바람 부는 날에도 꽃은 피고"는 한국에서 제작된 김정옥 감독의 1987년 드라마, 멜로/로맨스 영화인데 그 동안 연극인으로 살아 온 김정옥 감독이 해당 영화로 영화감독 데뷔를 했다. 박봉서 등이 주연으로 출연하였고 강대선 등이 제작에 참여하였으며 연극배우 김지숙이 해당 영화를 통해 처음으로 스크린 주역을 맡았는데 80년대 중후반 들어 김지숙 외에도 최민수 (신의 아들) 황신혜(기쁜 우리 젊은 날) 최재성(공포의 외인구단 1편) 박중훈(깜보) 허윤정(빙해) 등이 영화 주연 또는 조연으로 데뷔했다.
