It stars Tom Cruise, Bryan Brown and Elisabeth Shue. It tells the story of business student Brian Flanagan, who takes up bartending in order to make ends meet. Released on July 29, 1988, by Buena Vista Pictures (under its adult film label Touchstone Pictures), Cocktail features an original music score composed by J. Peter Robinson.
