The Girlfriend (Spanish: La amiga) is a 1988 Argentine-German historical drama film directed by Jeanine Meerapfel and starring Liv Ullmann, Cipe Lincovsky and Federico Luppi. It was written by Osvaldo Bayer, Alcides Chiesa, Jeanine Meerapfel and Agnieszka Holland.
