Idhu Namma Aalu (lit. 'He is our man'; contextual: He is from our caste) is a 1988 Indian Tamil-language comedy film which is the directorial debut of Balakumaran and is written by K. Bhagyaraj who also stars in it. It was released on 1 August 1988. It was later dubbed in Telugu as Nenu Meevadine, which became a hit then. Later this film was remade in Telugu as Adirindi Alludu (1996), and twice in Kannada as Aliya Alla Magala Ganda (1997) and Ravi Shastri (2006). (from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA)
